Function:
- BSD (blind spot monitoring)
- Real time monitoring of blind spot vehicles in the rearview mirror. If overtaking is detected in the rear, the corresponding side indicator light will remain on for warning.
- LCA (lane change assistance)
- When changing lanes and turning on the turn signal, if there is overtaking behind, the corresponding side indicator lights will flash continuously, indicating danger. Please do not change lanes
- DOW (door opening warning)
- When parking and opening the door, if a car passes by on the side of the door, the system will flash an alarm, reminding not to open the door.
- RCW(rear collision warning)
- When the rear vehicle approaches rapidly with a rear end collision, the speed is greater than 50 kilometers per hour. The system will flash an alarm, indicating emergency preparedness.
- RCTA (rear traffic crossing reminder)
- When reversing and exiting the vehicle, if there is a vehicle passing through the rear, the system will flash an alarm, reminding not to continue reversing.
- After modifying the side assistance, it achieves three lane alignment and supports three lane bird’s-eye view display (for vehicles with a virtual cockpit for bird’s-eye view)
Note:
1，The delivered hardwar has passed the functional test and does not require online matching or SFD. At the same time, there is no need to replace the ABS pump or gateway!
2，For A6 C8 A7 4K produced before October 2023 can activate the side Assist menu option for free!
3，For A6 C8 A7 4K produced after October 2023, the Side Assist menu option does not need to be activated, but the Side Assist function can still be realized. If you need the Side Assist menu interface, it can be achieved through SFD, but at an additional cost!
4，Installation instructions can be provided. After installation is completed, the vehicle needs to be encoded.
5，Please contact your Volkswagen Audi dealer or modifier to provide ODIS, 5054A, 6164A, DOIP equipment and diagnostic software.
