As a benchmark of German luxury sedans, the upgrade of safety configuration of Audi A6 C8 has always been the focus of attention for car owners. The 1:1 lane change Assist system (Audi Side Assist), with its precise radar detection and deep protocol integration, has become the core configuration for avoiding blind spot risks.
The self-developed 1:1 lane-changing assistance system is highly cost-effective. For Audi A6, C8, A7, A8, Q7, 4M and Q8 models, upgrade the original factory lane change assist system. If there is no ACC adaptive cruise control, the side assist system needs to be replaced with high-end ABS pumps and high-end gateways. The 1:1 lane-changing assist system independently developed by us does not require the replacement of the ABS pump and gateway, and its working control mode is the same as the original control mode.

Function
Support bird ‘s-eye view display(The original vehicle’s virtual cockpit needs to have a 3D display)
Departure warning: Equipped with door opening warning outline warning light
When parking and opening the door, if a vehicle passes by on the opening side, the system will flash its lights to alert and warn not to open the door.

RCW (Rear Collision Warning)
When the vehicle behind approaches rapidly and there is a rear-end collision, the speed is greater than 50 miles per hour. The system will flash an alarm to prompt people to be ready for emergency.
RCTA (Rear Traffic Crossing Alert)
When reversing in of a parking space and a vehicle passes through from behind, the system will flash its lights to alert you not to continue reversing.

With BSD close-range blind spot monitoring
Real-time monitoring of vehicles in the blind spot of the rearview mirror. If overtaking is detected behind, the corresponding side indicator light will remain constantly on as a warning.
LCA long-distance overtaking warning
When changing lanes and turning on the turn signal, if there is overtaking from behind, the corresponding side indicator light will flash continuously, indicating danger. Please do not change lanes.

Support perfect interactive integration with ACC and lane keeping through coding matching
The core advantage of the 1:1 lane change assistance scheme
Non-destructive installation: Just like the original factory lane change assistance, through the self-developed radar and bracket positions, a dedicated radar bracket position is reserved for the rear bumper.

Full protocol connection: Supports three-level warning (constantly on → flashing → flashing) and departure warning (automatically scans for vehicles coming from behind when the door is opened)
Functional scalability: It can be linked with ACC to achieve “pre-lane change decision-making”, or work in coordination with 360-degree panoramic view to activate “rear cross traffic flow assistance”.

Construction process and technical key points
1,Radar installation and calibration
Positioning accuracy: The tilt Angle of the rear bar radar is strictly controlled at 15°±0.5° (deviation > 1° will cause the detection blind area to expand by 20%).
2. Wiring harness layout specifications
Gateway wiring: Connect the signal line to the gateway interface under the rear seats (pins T54b/12, T54/30).
Power management: When taking power from the fuse box, two fuses (main fuse 30A+ branch fuse 5A) should be connected in series to prevent module overload
3. Programming and Protocol Activation
Dynamic calibration: When traveling at a constant speed of 60km/h for 3 kilometers, the system automatically compensates for the deflection Angle of the radar beam
